CernoviX is a personal desktop email organizer. This notice explains exactly what it can access, why it uses that information, how it protects sensitive Google user data, and the choices you keep.
This policy applies to the CernoviX desktop application and the privacy practices of AtmaVox for CernoviX. It is written for people connecting Google Gmail, Microsoft, or IMAP/SMTP accounts.
Direct to your provider.
CernoviX connects to the mail provider you choose. AtmaVox does not operate an inbox-copying cloud service.
Never an ad product.
Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train generalized AI or machine-learning models.
01Data we handle
Only what CernoviX needs to make your mail useful.
When you choose to connect an account, CernoviX may access and process the following information on your device. We request access only when it is needed for an available, user-facing CernoviX feature.

CernoviX does not collect your Gmail password. Google account access is granted through Google OAuth when you choose to authorize it.
02How we use it
For the features you can see and choose to use.
With your authorization, CernoviX uses Google Gmail data to display and organize your messages, surface useful categories and information from mail, and perform mail actions that you initiate. For example, if you choose an action in CernoviX, the app may mark a message as read, star or label it, archive it, move it to Inbox or Trash, or send a message you explicitly compose.
Google Limited Use
CernoviX’s use of information received from Google Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
- We do not sell Google user data or use it for ads, retargeting, personalization, credit-worthiness, lending, or data-broker services.
- We do not use Google user data to create, train, or improve generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
- We do not request access for future features. The permissions requested are limited to the functionality made available in CernoviX.
03Data protection mechanisms
Sensitive data is protected in transit, at rest, and in use.
CernoviX uses the safeguards below to protect Google user data and other sensitive mail information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, loss, or disclosure.
Secure connections
Communication with Google APIs uses HTTPS with TLS. Connections to another provider use that provider’s supported secure transport configuration.
Protected credentials
OAuth tokens and connected-account credentials are kept in the operating system’s secure credential storage, which provides encrypted-at-rest protection for sensitive credentials.
Local data boundary
Mail content, derived records, drafts, and preferences are stored in CernoviX’s local application container, not in an AtmaVox-operated cloud inbox database.
Purpose-limited access
Access is limited to the connected account and the user-facing features you select. CernoviX does not use mail data for unrelated profiling.
Remote images and other remote content inside mail messages are blocked by default. Keep your device, operating system, and CernoviX up to date, and protect your device account with an appropriate password or device lock.
04Sharing & human access
Your inbox is not transferred to AtmaVox.
Where data goes
CernoviX communicates directly with the provider you connect—such as Google, Microsoft, or an IMAP/SMTP provider—to deliver the functions you ask for. Those providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
What AtmaVox does not do
AtmaVox does not run a service that receives your inbox, financial records, app activity, device identifiers, or crash telemetry. We do not transfer Google user data to advertising platforms, data brokers, information resellers, or other third parties.
AtmaVox personnel are not permitted to read your Gmail data. If you voluntarily include information in an email to support, we use only the information you provide in that request to respond to you; never send a password, one-time code, full card number, or full message content unless we specifically ask for it and you choose to provide it.
05Retention & deletion
You decide how long local CernoviX data stays.
CernoviX retains connected-account data on your device until you remove it. Disconnect an account using the app’s purge option to remove that account’s locally stored messages, drafts, transactions, offers, classifications, and logs. AtmaVox has no remote inbox copy to retain or delete.
YOUR CONTROLS
Remove access at any time.
You can disconnect an account in CernoviX, revoke Google access from your Google Account, and contact us for deletion help or privacy questions.

Questions deserve a direct answer.
This policy is effective September 14, 2026. If CernoviX changes how it accesses, uses, stores, or shares Google user data, we will update this page and request consent where required before using data in a new way.
